Responsibilities
- Accessioning and problem resolution
- Assure all specimens brought to the laboratory are accurately identified (by name/specimen type), sorted and labeled for testing
- Assign and identify bar coded numbers to a test request form to ensure all specimens received match the identification on the form and all requests are processed
