About the Role
The RV Sales Associate is responsible for generating sales for new and used RVs and equipment, while providing customers with an outstanding customer service experience. Successful candidates will build rapport and trust with customers, generate and close sales for new and used units and accessories, and conduct professional, informative demonstrations.
Responsibilities
- Generate sales for new and used RVs and equipment.
- Provide customers with an outstanding customer service experience.
- Build rapport and trust with customers.
- Generate and close sales for new and used units and accessories.
- Conduct professional, high quality and informative interactive demonstrations with customers.
- Serve as a liaison between customers and various departments including Accounting, F&I, Parts, and Service.
- Maintain appropriate level of contact with customers to increase opportunities for repeat and referral business.
- Continuously improve product knowledge by staying up to date on manufacturer’s product features, components, and changes.
- Stay up to date of market trends and industry changes from publications, manufacturer websites and company provided information.
- Be willing to learn and continuously implement the Alpin Haus selling system word tracks and techniques.
- Participate in the company's education and training seminars to improve sales and customer relationship skills.
- Enhance organization reputation by accomplishing new and different requests, handling customer objections and exploring opportunities to add value to the customer's experience.
Requirements
- High school diploma.
- 1 year retail sales experience; experience in RV or automotive sales preferred.
- Valid driver's license, free from major infractions.
- Ability to work Saturday’s and 3-5 sales event weekends per year.
- Talking and hearing, walking and sitting, repetitive hand motion, using hands to grasp, and reaching with arms/hands are required.
- Some exposure to adverse environmental conditions such as very cold or very hot temperatures in campers that may be stored outdoors; customer interaction may occur outside in various weather conditions.
