About the Role

As the Country Manager for Portugal, you will be the face of Trade Republic in the Portuguese market, responsible for geographical expansion and building high-impact relationships with press, influencers, affiliates, growth partners, and public authorities. You will identify and introduce local partners for user acquisition and engagement, and funnel local product needs back to the company, ensuring cultural and linguistic relevance.

Responsibilities

Become our face in the Portuguese Market, participating in public interviews, speaking with regulators, and convincing thought leaders.
Build high-quality and high-impact relationships with press, influencers, affiliates, growth partners, public authorities, and address ad hoc local needs.
Identify and introduce relevant local partners to contribute to user acquisition and engagement in Portugal through multi-channel growth campaigns in cooperation with central teams.
Identify and funnel back local product needs to the company, ensuring the cultural and linguistic relevance of the overall growth setup.

Requirements

5+ years of commercial or development experience in a fast-paced environment (start-up/scale-up, private or investment banking, strategy consulting, M&A).
Outstanding communicator with a taste for Social Media.
Prior experience with the Portuguese press and public affairs management.
Passionate about banking or investment topics.
Deep understanding of the Portuguese retail investing market and relevant regulations.
Hands-on, relentless, sets ambitious goals, handles high workloads, and manages multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
