About the Role

This client-facing account executive role supports a portfolio of small to medium clients across Australia, providing advice on group life and salary continuance insurance from strategy and new business through to day-to-day account management. The role offers the opportunity to build trusted relationships, work across interesting client needs and contribute to outcomes that genuinely matter, supported by a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide trusted consulting advice on group life and salary continuance insurance to a portfolio of SME clients
  • Work closely with the placement team on renewal and placement activity, including insurer negotiations, policy documentation and client reporting
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within your portfolio, introducing relevant products and services to deepen client relationships
  • Collaborate with specialists across the business to manage complex client needs and support seamless service delivery
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with clients and insurers, acting as a trusted point of contact
  • Maintain accurate client records and uphold compliance standards across all account activity

Requirements

  • Excellent client relationship skills, with the ability to communicate confidently at all levels
  • Experience managing multiple priorities in a client service, insurance or financial services environment
  • Well-developed analytical skills and the ability to turn complex information into clear, practical advice
  • High attention to detail in policy documentation, reporting and record keeping
  • Appropriate approval to work in Australia
  • Successful applicants will be required to complete a criminal & bankruptcy check prior to commencement of employment
