About the Role
Filmbankmedia is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Cloud Technology Engineer to join their Technology team. This role offers exposure to AWS cloud services, software applications, automation, cybersecurity, data management, OTT streaming platforms, and technical support, with opportunities for learning and professional development.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to internal users, including user lifecycle activities and account administration.
- Support and monitor cloud-based applications and services, investigate technical issues, and assist with updates.
- Provide first-line support for digital streaming platforms, investigate customer issues, and monitor platform availability.
- Assist with routine data validation, data quality checks, and data-related investigations.
- Use scripts, database queries, and technical tools to investigate issues and automate tasks.
- Follow cybersecurity and content protection procedures, and maintain technical documentation.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and gradually take on more responsibility.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a technical role with a strong emphasis on hands-on coding experience.
- Previous experience with React and/or Next.js, JavaScript or TypeScript, REST APIs, and modern web technologies.
- Familiarity with AWS services and source control tools such as Git.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, security best practices, and content protection concepts.
- Exposure to data migration or database projects.
- Experience supporting SaaS, cloud, media, or streaming platforms.
