About the Role

The Product Manager Treasury will build towards a real-time unified treasury for all Visa Direct products, including Collections, Holds, Payouts, and Conversions. This role involves developing real-time financial systems at a global scale and optimizing liquidity management to support Visa Direct's rapid global expansion.

Responsibilities

Direct product strategy from conception and definition through implementation.
Identify new business and market opportunities and create appropriate business plans.
Determine market requirements and ensure product alignment with organizational image and objectives.
Serve as a central resource interacting with systems, marketing, and sales during product development.
Formulate and execute long-term plans for cost and profit control.
Promote adoption of new technologies and industry-leading trends.
Develop real-time financial systems at global scale.
Act as a key point of contact from the product team, working with stakeholders from compliance, technology, and other departments to build new liquidity and cash management solutions.
Develop the infrastructure to optimize liquidity management.
Lead complex projects integrating new Visa products and markets into Treasury systems.
Ensure implementation and updates of systems to enable the treasury team to fulfill its obligations as Visa Direct scales into new markets and products.

Requirements

Relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree, an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or a PhD.
Experience in creating vision statements and setting product goals.
Experience in defining product strategy.
Experience in product design.
Experience in customer discovery and designing new products based on that discovery.
Experience in product execution.
Experience in defining and leading plans to achieve product goals.
Experience working within matrixed, ambiguous environments and understanding the issuing dynamic within the broader payments ecosystem.
Experience working in Agile frameworks and comfortable working in matrixed organizations.
Experience in process or core banking best practices and passion to implement these across teams.
Demonstrated ability to recruit, grow, retain, and lead high-caliber technical talent.
Treasury or finance, preferably within a regulated EMI, fintech, bank, or payments company.
Experienced working in regulated areas, comfortable working with compliance officers, auditors and equally discussing technical problems with engineers.
Proficiency with Excel and financial modelling tools; experience with Treasury systems a plus.
Successful track record of working with cross-functional teams.
Practical knowledge of Agile methodology and proven implementation.
Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management with an ability to translate business needs to a technical team.
Results orientated, continues to work toward achievement of goals in the face of obstacles readily integrating changes into work processes and outputs.
History of working closely and effectively with analyst and technology teams to elicit requirements from stakeholders, challenging them to hone their thinking with the ability to.
Senior product management experience in Digital, Payments, and Financial Services.
Proven track record of successfully launching and managing digital products for issuers.
Deep background in issuing institutions and needs when growing/managing large card portfolios.
Strong expertise in defining and executing product strategy, product roadmaps, and go-to-market plans leveraging data to inform decision making and secure influence.
Solid understanding of software development processes and technologies to collaborate effectively with engineering and design teams.
Digital fluency, including the ability to work with emerging technologies such as Generative AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot) to support everyday work.
