About the Role
This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting a broad range of commercial, corporate, regulatory and operational legal matters across the UK and Europe. The successful candidate will work closely with in-house counsel and collaborate with various business functions in a fast-paced international environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the review and drafting of a wide range of commercial agreements, including procurement and supplier agreements, store operation agreements, NDAs and other commercial contracts.
- Assist with legal research on UK and European laws and regulations, and prepare concise legal research notes and summaries.
- Assist with the review of marketing campaign Terms & Conditions and provide support in delivering legal guidance for promotional activities.
- Support the legal team in reviewing and managing internal legal approval requests and responding to day-to-day legal enquiries from business teams.
- Support the team in responding to enquiries relating to counterfeit products.
- Help prepare legal templates, internal guidance notes, training materials.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law (LLB, LLM or equivalent).
- Strong interest in commercial law and in-house legal practice.
- Excellent legal research, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- High attention to detail with strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
- Previous internship or work experience in a law firm or in-house legal department is an advantage but not essential.
