About the Role
Cero’s Treasury Analyst will have a broad range of responsibilities in a dynamic role that covers a variety of traditional front and back office Treasury tasks. You will play a crucial role in optimising our cash flow, improving efficiency within our Treasury operations and ensuring compliance with Treasury policy. Reporting to the Senior Treasury Manager, you’ll also collaborate with wider Finance and the Cero business. The successful candidate will be a key pillar in helping us to build a Treasury function for the future in a growing business.
Responsibilities
- Manage Cero’s cash, including maintaining cash forecasts, monitoring Group liquidity, and executing appropriate transfers, FX transactions, and money market deposits.
- Process payroll and approve supplier payments for the entire Group.
- Serve as a key contact for bank account management, ensuring mandates, KYC, and AML requirements are up to date.
- Propose funding drawdowns and oversee the Group’s intercompany funding arrangements, including monthly tracking and reconciliation of intercompany loans.
- Administer user changes and support system enhancements for the Treasury Management System and e-banking systems.
- Prepare cash and debt reporting, complete month-end Treasury activities, and ensure timely and accurate information is provided to key stakeholders.
- Support the team with the periodic valuation of interest rate swaps and contribute to ad hoc projects.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a dynamic, fast-paced Treasury function.
- Strong understanding of cash management, forecasting, and analysis.
- Experience with bank account management and European KYC/AML processes.
- Strong understanding of intercompany funding structures.
- Knowledge of e-banking systems and European payment methods.
- Exceptional Excel skills.
- Experience with TMS, ideally FIS Integrity (desirable).
- Experience with e-banking or system administration (desirable).
- Experience with hedging and financial risk management processes (desirable).
- Experience in preparation of internal and shareholder reporting (desirable).
