About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Lead ERP Finance Solution Architect to shape and evolve the financial backbone of our ERP landscape while leading a team of Functional Managers. This senior role combines strong functional expertise with people leadership, partnering closely with Product, Engineering, and Finance teams to design, build, and continuously improve robust and scalable ERP finance solutions across Emma’s markets.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end solution design for finance-related processes in MS Dynamics 365, recommending best practices and ensuring full leverage of standard ERP functionalities.
- Keep solutions scalable, compliant, and aligned with Emma's target operating model.
- Translate business needs into practical designs through workshops and in-depth analysis sessions.
- Refine and validate solution designs in collaboration with Business Consultants.
- Push back to maintain solution simplicity and alignment with MS Dynamics standard.
- Guide the configuration of ERP finance modules and coordinate developers, functional consultants, and implementation partners.
- Maintain high quality and design integrity during implementation.
- Set up and maintain governance across configuration management, environments, sandbox strategy, testing, and release management.
- Ensure design decisions are documented, signed off, and traceable.
- Lead and grow the Functional Managers team through coaching and clear feedback.
- Provide functional leadership and mentor team members in best practices and emerging technologies.
- Keep ERP Platforms future-ready by staying ahead of D365 FSCM & BC releases and new capabilities.
- Support version upgrade cycles and shape the long-term roadmap with Product and Engineering.
- Drive continuous improvement in platform and team operations.
- Identify opportunities for simplification, standardization, or automation.
Requirements
- Several years of experience as a Solution Architect or Senior Functional Consultant on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management (and ideally also Business Central).
- Strong depth in Finance modules: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash & Bank Management, Tax, and financial reporting.
- Several full lifecycle FSCM (and/or BC) implementations, migrations, or major rollouts delivered across multiple markets and industries.
- Experience in the retail industry is a big advantage.
- Experience leading Functional Managers or senior consultants and building teams.
- Solid, end-to-end understanding of Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay, and Order-to-Cash and their mapping to standard D365 Finance functionality.
- Ability to switch between finance and technology language and write good solution design documents.
- Experience working with agile methods in enterprise environments.
