About the Role
We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our foundation team, with a primary focus on mobile development. The ideal candidate will have experience shipping production software, a strong understanding of build processes, and daily experience with agentic coding tools. You will contribute to building the #1 AI learning companion for students worldwide, working on a platform that revolutionizes education.
Responsibilities
- Extend, maintain, and ensure the correct usage of the core Flutter app, including shared components, the design system, and state management.
- Develop and maintain agentic and AI infrastructure, including MCP servers, background agent platforms, and evaluation/feedback loops.
- Improve developer experience through enhancements to CI/CD, release tooling, and code-to-deployment feedback loops.
- Ship user-facing product features alongside platform development.
- Ensure the reliability and maintenance of existing systems to support the work of other engineers.
Requirements
- A few years of production experience building mobile (Flutter/Dart) or web applications.
- Daily use of agentic coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, Codex) with informed opinions on their effectiveness and limitations.
- A keen eye for design details, including consistent spacing and smooth animations.
- Clear communication in English.
- A genuine preference for improving systems that hinder others' productivity.
- Experience building mobile apps with Flutter.
- Experience with Golang or similar backend languages.
- Experience with agents, MCP, or evals.
