About the Role

Perform MRI and CT imaging with a high level of autonomy, applying sound clinical judgement and technical expertise across complex imaging procedures while prioritising patient safety and comfort. Deliver compassionate, high-quality care tailored to each patient’s needs, while maintaining accurate documentation, confidentiality, infection control and safety standards. Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams and contribute to quality improvement, radiation safety, WHS initiatives and the ongoing enhancement of imaging services. Support student education and mentor junior staff while actively participating in CPD, departmental training, research and evidence-based practice. Share your knowledge and expertise with colleagues, contribute to a positive team culture and help deliver excellent patient outcomes across the department.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Diagnostic Radiography (or equivalent)
• Current AHPRA registration
• NSW EPA Radiation Licence
• Proven clinical experience in a Medical Imaging environment
• Strong commitment to safe, high-quality, patient-centred care
• Confident working autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Ability to motivate and support colleagues to achieve shared goals
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
• Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions and manage complex challenges
• Passionate about best practice, quality improvement, risk management and WH&S
• Strong computer literacy
• Commitment to ongoing professional development
• Must be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or have an Australia visa that grants the work rights necessary for the role
