About the Role

We are shaping the future of mobility in Berlin, making the capital sustainable for people and the climate. This role involves leading the Performance & Programs Procurement department, reporting directly to the Head of Procurement & Supply Chain Management, and managing a team of 6-10 employees to strategically advance procurement.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Performance & Programs Procurement department and strategically develop the business unit with a focus on digitalization, processes, systems, and methods.
  • Manage cross-departmental programs and collaborate closely with work groups to continuously improve processes and value streams.
  • Develop the commodity group structure and KPI frameworks, creating a foundation for data-driven procurement management.
  • Oversee the introduction and further development of digital systems and AI solutions, actively driving the digitalization of procurement.
  • Handle reporting, controlling, and ensure transparent and efficient processes within the business unit.

Requirements

  • Completed scientific university degree (Master's or Diploma) in Industrial Engineering, Engineering, or Business Administration.
  • Several years of professional and leadership experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a comparable field.
  • Experience in leading and developing employees and managing interdisciplinary teams.
  • Very good German language skills, both written and spoken (at least C1).

Salary/Compensations

  • €5,353.36 - €6,038.71 (Entgeltgruppe 13 TV-N Berlin) plus a management allowance of €250 gross/month
