About the Role
The Pricing & Services sub-domain within Vinted Marketplace focuses on delivering maximum value to members through pricing, escrow, visibility, and verification services. This role will contribute to defining the strategy for new monetization streams, including their eligibility and pricing, and developing experimentation plans to validate strategic direction and measure business impact.
Responsibilities
- Partner with your team and stakeholders to define the strategy of monetization streams, provide data-driven recommendations, and answer critical business questions.
- Develop experimentation plans to validate strategic direction and understand business impact of implemented features using statistical methods and visualization tools.
- Define, implement, and monitor key performance indicators, proactively flagging issues, running analyses, and understanding root causes.
- Enable your team and direct stakeholders to independently leverage data for business insights via self-service dashboards.
- Contribute to a data-driven culture by promoting best practices in analytics and decision-making.
- Ensure new business initiatives are reviewed for impact from a decision scientist's perspective.
Requirements
- Experience in a Decision Science or Data Analytics role.
- Good analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance depth of analysis with business impact.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
- Experience with SQL and Python.
- Knowledge of statistical methods, such as A/B testing, regression analysis, and other inferential techniques.
- A proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced, constantly evolving business environment.
- Highly results-oriented and comfortable with iterative processes.
- Strong communicator who can convincingly present results to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Experience with BI tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI).
