About the Role
The Data & Analytics department is responsible for the company-wide data, analytics, and AI strategy. We create standards, structures, and guidance for the secure, consistent, and effective use of data, empowering management and business units to leverage data for better decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Further develop the company-wide Data Governance Framework, designing standards, roles, processes, guidelines, and quality criteria for secure and consistent data handling.
- Translate technical, regulatory, and business requirements into practical governance concepts and implement them with Data Protection, Information Security, Compliance, IT, and business departments.
- Actively shape the integration of Data Governance into business units, provide methodological support to Data Owners and Data Stewards, and foster a modern, responsible data culture.
- Develop approaches for data quality, metadata management, data catalog, and business glossary to enhance transparency and usability of data assets.
- Prepare concepts, decision memos, and recommendations for management and executive levels in an audience-appropriate, understandable, and actionable manner.
Requirements
- Completed scientific university degree (Master's or Diploma) in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Data Science, or Business Administration, or equivalent skills and knowledge based on extensive professional experience.
- In-depth experience and good understanding of modern Data Governance frameworks, particularly regarding role models, data quality, metadata management, data catalogs, and business glossaries.
- Very good German language skills (minimum C1 level) and proficient business-level English in speaking and writing.
