About the Role
Bosch Building Automation GmbH, part of Bosch Building Technologies, offers innovative, networked solutions in building automation, building, and security technology for efficient, safe, and sustainable buildings. We are looking for a Service Technician for exciting and diverse projects in and around Dresden to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Independent execution of service, maintenance, and repair work on MSR and building automation systems at the customer's site.
- Analysis and resolution of faults in automation stations, control cabinets, and management and operating units to ensure reliable system operation.
- Parameterization and optimization of standardized software applications in the service context.
- Performing functional tests on existing systems.
- Technical coordination with internal and external contacts, including subcontractors.
- Participation in service and project meetings.
- Supporting customers with technical questions and advising on optimization and expansion possibilities.
- Assisting in the coordination of external services.
- Complete and comprehensible documentation of service assignments.
- Preparation of service reports.
- Accompanying acceptance tests after service or conversion measures.
Requirements
- Completed technical training, e.g., as an electrical technician for devices and systems, electronics technician for automation technology, or a comparable electrical qualification.
- Further training as a state-certified technician, master craftsman, or a technical degree is advantageous.
- Several years of experience in the service environment of MSR or building automation systems.
- Knowledge in fault analysis, maintenance, and handling standardized software applications.
- Experience with HVAC system technology, functional processes, and technical documentation.
- Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working.
- Ability to explain technical issues clearly.
- Confident demeanor in direct customer contact.
- Enjoyment of teamwork.
- Very good German language skills, both written and spoken.
- Valid driver's license class B.
