About the Role

The Events Analyst, reporting to the Head of EMEA Marketing based in our London office, will work closely with our Events Manager and cross-departmental professionals to support Wellington’s EMEA calendar of events (physical and online) across both institutional and wealth channels. This position is hands-on and requires strong organization, prioritization, communication, and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Events Manager to plan and execute events across EMEA and understand channel requirements.
  • Source and manage vendors for events, including restaurants, hotels, meeting rooms, and catering.
  • Manage logistical planning and provide on-site support at events as needed.
  • Coordinate with the Events Manager to track event spend and budgets.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders to understand their business priorities.
  • Develop promotional materials and communications for events, including microsites, email communications, and social promotion.
  • Develop bespoke stand designs in keeping with the firm’s brand guidelines.
  • Build relationships with external suppliers, venues, and vendors to achieve high standards and cost efficiencies.
  • Track event metrics and ROI/success stories.
  • Track and manage event merchandise and storage inventory.
  • Process and track event-related invoices and contracts.
  • Update English event website pages and hero banners on a quarterly basis.
  • Ensure all events meet risk, brand, and regulatory requirements.
  • Follow necessary processes and procedures to support the EMEA events function and the Global Marketing function.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of previous experience with events and/or administration, preferably in a financial or other professional services environment.
  • High level of proficiency in software packages such as MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail, excellent time management, and a strong work ethic.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Quick learner who is highly motivated and a proactive self-starter.
  • Ability to build productive business relationships.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment with the ability to manage multiple projects independently.
