About the Role

The Associate Account Executive drives provider and parent growth across Texas by launching and expanding a kids’ activities platform in local markets. This high-impact, entrepreneurial role involves pitching and signing camps, after-school programs, and children’s activity providers, while building local awareness and encouraging parent engagement. You will work closely with the founding team in a fast-paced environment, playing a key role in making it easier for families to find and book great activities for their children.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect new providers by building a strong pipeline of potential activity partners, including summer camps, after-school programs, and classes for kids.
  • Conduct outbound outreach through calls, emails, and in-person meetings to engage providers and introduce the platform.
  • Deliver clear, compelling sales pitches that highlight the value of joining the platform and address provider needs and questions.
  • Negotiate and close agreements with providers to join the platform, ensuring mutual alignment on expectations and outcomes.
  • Manage the full sales funnel using CRM tools, tracking leads, opportunities, and conversions with accuracy and discipline.
  • Report regularly on sales activities, pipeline health, and progress toward individual and market growth targets.
  • Coordinate a smooth handoff of newly signed providers to the onboarding process, setting them up for early success on the platform.
  • Act as a local ambassador for the brand when interacting with parents, providers, and community partners, representing the company with professionalism and enthusiasm.
  • Collaborate closely with the co-founding team to achieve local market growth goals and support broader expansion initiatives.
  • Engage with local businesses and communities in and around Houston and other Texas markets to deepen relationships and drive adoption.
  • Travel within Texas and drive to meet providers as needed to build trust and close deals.
  • Work some weekends as needed to meet with providers, attend events, or support key sales and outreach activities.
  • Ramp up quickly in the role with minimal runway, taking ownership of outreach to partners and providers within the first week.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2–5 years of experience in sales, business development, or partnerships roles, ideally within a startup or marketplace environment.
  • Proven ability to hit or exceed individual sales targets in outbound or mixed sales roles.
  • Comfort with outbound selling, including email, phone, and in-person outreach to prospective partners.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate value propositions to both providers and parents.
  • Demonstrated ability and willingness to build and nurture relationships with external stakeholders.
  • High level of organization and the ability to manage a robust pipeline of prospects through CRM tools.
  • Self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Genuine interest in education, youth programming, childcare, or children’s activities.
  • Motivation to operate at startup pace, with comfort in an environment that is not a traditional punch in/punch out, highly directed role.
  • Drive and hunger to win while making life easier for parents and providers.
  • At least 1+ years of outbound sales experience (C2C, B2B, or similar) REQUIRED.
  • Experience in roles such as elementary teacher, school teacher, childcare provider, or children’s activity coordinator can be advantageous.
  • Experience in sales, customer service, account management, or business development, particularly in a startup or marketplace, is beneficial.
  • Comfort working closely with experienced founders and contributing to both high performance and high compassion team cultures.
  • Ability to quickly get up to speed in a new role and begin engaging partners and providers with minimal ramp time.
