About the Role
Lead the day-to-day operations of the Revenue Team, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant pathology billing while delivering high-quality customer service. Oversee end-to-end revenue processes, including Medicare, DVA, private health funds, and commercial billing, while driving revenue integrity and maximising compliant revenue recovery. Provide leadership, coaching, and performance support to the Revenue Team, fostering a collaborative culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence. Drive system improvements and digital initiatives by optimising billing processes, supporting system enhancements, and ensuring efficient, reliable revenue management. Build strong partnerships with clinical, finance, IT, and external stakeholders to resolve complex billing issues, strengthen compliance, and deliver operational and financial outcomes.

Requirements
- Proven experience leading a healthcare revenue, patient billing, or accounts receivable team
- Ability to deliver high-quality, efficient, and compliant billing services
- Strong knowledge of pathology billing, the Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS), private health funds, and healthcare funding
- Commitment to revenue integrity and compliance
- Experience using TrakCare or similar patient administration and billing systems
- Ability to troubleshoot issues, improve processes, and support system enhancements
- Advanced analytical and reporting skills
- Strong Microsoft Excel capability
- Experience interpreting data to drive operational performance and continuous improvement
- Collaborative and inspiring leader
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
- Capable of building strong relationships and leading positive change across multidisciplinary teams
- Must be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or have an Australia visa that grants the necessary work rights
