About the Role

We are seeking application development engineers for credit card, mid-sized banking, trust banking, and insurance industries. As an application engineer, you will be involved in building systems that solve our clients' business challenges, working as a primary contractor on development projects.

Responsibilities

• Understand designs presented by the team leader.
• Perform development tasks as a primary contractor.
• Review programs developed offshore and identify coding errors.
• Conduct internal integration testing after manufacturing and unit testing.
• Create internal integration test cases, prepare test data and environments, and execute tests.
• Perform production releases after receiving training from team members.

Requirements

• Over 2 years of project participation experience as an application engineer.
• Experience with scratch development.
• On-premises development experience on Windows or Linux.
• Program coding experience.
• Development experience in a team of 3 to 15 people.
• Ability to maintain teamwork and good communication within the team.
• Understanding of diverse working styles, including remote work, and the ability to foster teamwork through discussion and collaboration to prevent workload imbalance.
• Sufficient Japanese proficiency to write design documents and meeting minutes and communicate smoothly with clients.
• Ability to clearly express when something is not understood and to communicate with others to find solutions.
• Ability to conduct business with a healthy work attitude.
• Understanding and practice of appropriate reporting, communication, consultation, and basic business etiquette.
• Sense of responsibility towards work.
