About the Role
Help shape the future of pricing by transforming how pricing teams work using emerging technologies like AI. This role sits at the intersection of pricing, actuarial, data science, and AI, turning innovative ideas into practical solutions to improve efficiency, generate insights, and support smarter decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Identify and deliver AI opportunities that improve pricing efficiency, support automation, and enhance decision-making across the pricing ecosystem.
- Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered solutions that strengthen pricing insights, processes, and commercial outcomes.
- Partner with pricing, governance, technology, and data teams to prioritize initiatives and deliver scalable solutions.
- Support the development of the Pricing Technology and AI roadmap, helping shape future pricing capabilities.
- Monitor model performance, establish governance practices, and ensure AI outputs are reliable, transparent, and fit for purpose.
- Champion AI adoption by sharing knowledge, coaching colleagues, and demonstrating practical use cases that create business value.
Requirements
- Experience in insurance pricing, actuarial, reserving, reinsurance, or advanced analytics environments.
- Strong understanding of AI, machine learning, Generative AI, and Large Language Models.
- Demonstrated ability to apply advanced analytics and AI solutions to real business challenges.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, R, or similar analytical and programming tools.
- Knowledge of AI governance, model monitoring, and responsible AI practices.
- Ability to translate technical concepts into clear business outcomes and influence a broad range of stakeholders.
- Curiosity, commercial thinking, and a passion for exploring new ways technology can enhance pricing outcomes.
- Tertiary qualification in Actuarial Studies, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or other relevant technical disciplines.
