About the Role
A Vice President in Portfolio Management supports the Managing Director in driving performance across a portfolio of real estate backed investments, utilizing the breadth of the Arrow platforms and the expertise of the Transaction and Asset Management teams to drive value, cashflow and exits. This role will be both internal and external facing, combining strong analytical rigor, day-to-day portfolio oversight, and a deep understanding of our investments.
Responsibilities
- Track investments within their portfolio, monitoring key performance triggers.
- Engage with platforms and asset management experts to drive value.
- Assess proposals from servicers and asset managers, flagging areas needing proactive action.
- Support the Managing Director with the portfolio management delegated authority process.
- Understand Fund level metrics and how investment decisions impact overall fund performance.
- Understand debt structures for investments and assess key covenants with the Capital Markets team.
- Collaborate with the Transaction team on investment exits.
- Support quarterly investment performance roll-ups with the Office of the CIO.
- Support quarterly investor and Board reporting, providing insights on investments and performance.
- Assist with investor meetings and fund-raising, including preparing deal case studies.
- Assess and provide business plans for quarterly valuations to the Valuations team.
Requirements
- Experience in private credit, private equity, real estate or special situations funds.
- Track record supporting or managing investment performance across a portfolio.
- Commercial background in commercial real estate is strongly preferred.
- Commercial sense and strong financial modelling capability.
- Strong analytical capabilities, with the ability to process detailed information while maintaining a big-picture view.
- Ability to distill data and situational background into concise summaries for senior management.
- Strong interpersonal skills for collaborative work across departments.
- Confidence in supporting investor-facing engagements.
