About the Role
Provide senior-level oversight of portfolio performance across Arrow’s CRE Lending book, spanning over €3.9bn AUM across multiple proprietary fund vehicles. Work closely with loan Asset Management and Risk teams to monitor performance, direct output, and ensure key metrics are met. This role sits at the center of the business, interfacing with stakeholders from the Investment Committee to on-the-ground experts, managing downside risk and initiating proactive strategies.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a centralized, top-down view of portfolio performance, with the ability to focus on individual credits while maintaining a macro perspective.
- Attend IC and pre-IC meetings as the Portfolio Management representative, providing PM sign-off on new deals.
- Act as deputy for the Head of CRE Lending Portfolio Management and present performance updates to senior leadership.
- Own functional sign-off on external investor reporting and manage the reporting cycle end-to-end.
- Oversee high-level liquidity management, monitoring headroom and forecasting drawdown/distribution timing.
- Assist in the oversight of the team managing back-leverage and financing facilities.
- Interface with the Client Product Solutions team to address investor queries and support fundraising.
- Design, build, and implement operational processes to drive improvements.
- Coordinate with Asset Management and Risk teams to monitor performance and identify emerging issues.
- Balance deployment with platform originators and CIO.
- Discuss high-level macro dynamics in leadership discussions.
- Leverage AI and emerging tools to enhance reporting accuracy, analysis speed, and capacity for higher-value work.
Requirements
- Prior CRE lending/banking, investments, or portfolio management experience (origination, underwriting, capital markets, acquisitions etc).
- Critical thinker, comfortable questioning information and third-party output.
- Excellent communication skills and strong executive presence.
- Ability to present complex portfolio, risk, and KPI matters to senior leadership.
- Process-oriented and organized.
- Ability to work autonomously and prioritize effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to manage both detailed tasks and a high-level view.
- Sound understanding of CRE lending/debt, fund structures, repo financing, and CRE development.
