About the Role

This role focuses on shaping the secure adoption of cloud, Kubernetes, application security, and Generative AI across Deloitte's enterprise platforms, tackling significant challenges in cyber, trust, resilience, and digital transformation within an innovative and collaborative culture.

Responsibilities

• Review solution designs across cloud-native and enterprise environments.
• Assess architecture decisions to ensure security is integrated from the outset.
• Build practical, scalable security guardrails across AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, containers, application security, IaC, and DevSecOps.
• Make secure delivery easier by running targeted architecture reviews.
• Advise on low-friction controls for lower-risk changes.
• Strengthen security around emerging technologies like Generative and Agentic AI without hindering innovation.
• Partner with cyber, engineering, and business stakeholders.
• Translate risk into clear decisions and actionable steps.
• Influence how security is embedded across Deloitte's technology landscape.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Security Architecture, Application Security, or Cloud Security roles in cloud-native or multi-cloud environments.
• Deep technical capability across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes, containers, application security, IaC, SSDLC, and DevSecOps practices.
• Experience translating security requirements into practical, scalable architecture decisions that support delivery.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leaders.
• Ability to communicate complex risks in clear business terms.
• Familiarity with securing AI/ML or Generative AI platforms, including model/data risks and evaluation guardrails.
• A pragmatic, adaptable approach with the ability to prioritize effectively in fast-moving environments.
• Up-to-date knowledge of emerging technologies.
• Ability to foster a culture of secure innovation.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CCSK, AWS or Azure Security Specialist (CKS), Offensive security certifications such as OSCP, OSWE or GPEN are beneficial.
