About the Role

Keywords Studios is an international service provider in the global video games industry. Our Tokyo office is bilingual (Japanese/English) and known for its casual, flat, and inclusive culture. Responsibilities

Play video games and verify the accuracy and quality of in-game Japanese text
Identify and report bugs such as grammatical errors or unnatural expressions using our bug tracking system
Re-test after fixes to ensure issues are properly resolved
Provide feedback to improve game quality and user experience

Requirements

Excellent Japanese language skills (especially grammar and kanji)
Deep understanding of local cultural and linguistic nuances
Basic PC skills (Word, Excel)
Must reside in Tokyo and be available for in-office work
Comfortable working in a multicultural environment

Skills

Ability to communicate in English
Experience in game testing
Experience in the gaming industry
Familiarity with bug tracking tools

Hourly wage starting from ¥1,300 with potential for more depending on experience and skills.
