About the Role
The Assistant in Nursing provides support to the Nursing staff in the delivery of basic care in a busy surgical orthopaedics ward. This experience could assist you in securing a New Graduate Position in the future.
Responsibilities
- Provides support to the Nursing staff in the delivery of basic care in a busy surgical department.
Requirements
- Enrolled in and undertaking a Bachelor of Nursing at 2nd year level.
- Enrolled in and undertaking a Diploma of Nursing and in at least 2nd stage.
- Certificate 3 in Health Service Assistance.
- Complete fundamental clinical skills, to assist the RN/EN workforce.
- Flexible and available to work on a 24/7 rotating roster.
- Previous experience working in an acute healthcare area (desired).
