About the Role

The Consultant is responsible for all aspects of the customer experience within multiple businesses (retail, rental, custom, and Omni-channel) within a store location. The role requires supporting a culture of customer-obsession, delivering a world-class experience, and engaging as a member of a high-performing team. The Consultant must navigate change, adapt to new programs, and contribute to a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate benchmark selling techniques for retail sales, custom clothing sales, and special occasion rentals.
Encourage and participate in team selling.
Build customer relationships from greeting through post-sale contact.
Participate in monitoring and impacting store sales volume and metrics goals.
Meet and maintain personal volume goals while maintaining an above-average quality of sale.
Use tailors for all alteration fittings or accurately fit customers and provide alteration recommendations when tailors are unavailable.
Assist in receiving shipments, putting away new merchandise, and maintaining a clean, organized store.
Assist with visually merchandising the store according to brand standards.
Help monitor the security of Company property and report or document damaged or missing product.
Assist in conducting merchandise stock counts and reporting discrepancies.
Effectively participate as a member of a store team, supporting team goals.
Maintain a workplace free of harassment and discrimination by adhering to Company policies and reporting concerns.

Requirements

Ability to stand and walk for the majority of the work shift.
Frequently bend, squat, and twist.
Lift up to 50 lbs.
Climb a ladder to reach merchandise or supplies.
See and distinguish between fabric patterns and colors.
