About the Role
As an Accelerator Architect, you will be responsible for driving the success of our Machine Identity Security solutions. You will deploy our comprehensive software platform and professional services to global enterprise customers, simplifying governance and reducing risk exposure. You will establish highly collaborative relationships with account teams, acting as both a customer advocate and subject matter expert. Guide organizations through automated processes, cloud technologies, and DevOps methodologies while enhancing their overall security posture.
Responsibilities
- Operate within a focused team to protect the world's largest organizations using Machine Identity Security solutions.
- Translate and deliver customers' business and technical MIM needs effectively.
- Prepare and deliver specialized solution workshops demonstrating expertise in the Machine Identity Security Platform.
- Evaluate existing business processes, propose process improvements, and track the success of customers' MIM programs.
- Ensure the success of multiple customer accounts by serving as a dedicated advocate and subject matter expert.
- Document patterns and blueprints to provide compelling solutions for developers and cloud teams.
- Maintain close, collaborative working relationships with PANW teams, partner organizations, and customer organizations.
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of consulting experience working within large-scale enterprise IT environments.
- Proven business acumen to identify critical business problems and articulate effective solutions to customers.
- Extensive experience automating Machine Identity Management using the MIM platforms, API’s, Adaptable framework and connectors.
- Strong expertise with scripting and APIs for automation utilizing PowerShell, Python, JavaScript, or similar languages.
- Direct working experience with modern containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
- Hands-on experience working with major cloud platforms and technologies including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Proficiency with orchestration and CI/CD technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, Chef, or Jenkins.
- Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills for engaging with diverse technical and business stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) including technology, standards, and enterprise implementations.
- AWS or Azure Architect Certification is highly preferred.
- Deep understanding of various Cloud models, Cloud providers, multi-cloud environments, and hybrid environments.
- Prior experience in a consultative, sales engineer, or enterprise architect role.
- Formal software development training and hands-on coding experience.
- Venafi Security Administrator (VSA) certification.
- Industry-recognized security certifications such as CISSP.
- Experience with technologies heavily utilizing TLS/SSL encryption such as F5, NetScaler, IIS, Apache, WebLogic, or WebSphere.
