About the Role

This role takes on the most challenging and undefined problems at Bobyard, including new trade launches, acquisitions, pricing, and new business lines. You will transform these into decisions and then into operating businesses, working directly with the CEO and leadership. The goal is for you to outgrow the role and potentially lead one of these businesses as a GM within 18 months.

Responsibilities

  • Own special projects end to end, from conception to operationalization.
  • Build business cases by sizing markets, modeling economics, and defending recommendations.
  • Evaluate acquisitions and new business lines, and assist in their execution.
  • Engage directly with contractors, sales, and customer success teams to understand trades before modeling.
  • Develop playbooks for repeatable processes from one-off projects.
  • Present clear recommendations to leadership, rather than multiple options.
  • Take ownership of a P&L when justified by performance.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, or a similar analytical role.
  • Top-tier undergraduate degree with a strong academic record.
  • Ability to apply first-principles thinking to reach practical solutions.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, capable of commanding a room and presenting arguments effectively.
  • Strong quantitative skills, including financial modeling, Excel proficiency, and comfort with ambiguous data.
  • Demonstrated experience owning initiatives end-to-end.
  • A bias for action, prioritizing timely execution over delayed perfection.
