About the Role

As a Forward Deployed AI Scientist with BCG X, you will apply data science methods and analytics to real-world business situations across various industries. You will partner with clients to design, build, and deploy innovative AI solutions, contributing to key topics like climate change. This role offers an accelerated path for personal and professional growth, requiring a passion for data science and transforming organizations into AI-led companies.

Responsibilities

Own the full analytics value-chain end to end: framing new business challenges, designing innovative algorithms, implementing, and deploying scalable solutions.
Enable colleagues and clients to fully embrace AI.
Apply data science methods and analytics to real-world business situations across a variety of industries to drive significant business impact.
Partner with clients in various BCG regions and industries on key topics like climate change, enabling them to design, build, and deploy new and innovative solutions.
Develop and deliver thought leadership in scientific communities and papers.
Lead conferences on behalf of BCG X.

Requirements

Must live within a reasonable commuting distance of your home office.
Expected to be in the office as directed.
Requires extended working hours at times.
Work often requires travel to client sites.
Comfortable in a client-facing role with the ambition to lead teams.
Ability to distill complex results or processes into simple, clear visualizations.
Ability to explain sophisticated data science concepts in an understandable manner.
Comfortable working with modern development tools and writing code collaboratively.
Significant experience applying advanced analytics to a variety of business situations.
Proven ability to synthesize complex data.
Deep understanding of modern machine learning techniques and their mathematical underpinnings.
Ability to translate machine learning concepts into business implications for clients.
Strong project management skills.

Salary/Compensations

$110,000 - $190,000 USD
