About the Role
This role serves as a strategic partner to senior leaders, helping design operating models, governance structures, and business capabilities to enable LMI's 2030 strategy. It sits at the intersection of strategy and execution, with a focus on enabling near-term execution while shaping long-term direction.
Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise design engagements from discovery through implementation.
- Partner across Strategy & Execution, serving as an embedded design partner on programs.
- Develop target operating models defining processes, governance, decision rights, roles, and responsibilities.
- Assess and mature business capabilities and processes across the enterprise.
- Conduct end-to-end assessments of investment processes and operating workflows.
- Define governance structures, success metrics, KPIs, and operating routines.
- Lead workshops and stakeholder engagements to build alignment and accelerate decision-making.
- Identify and scale opportunities to apply AI-enabled tools and methods.
- Monitor industry trends, emerging operating models, and technology innovations.
Requirements
- 10+ years in asset management, investment operations, process design, operating model design, business architecture, or management consulting.
- At least 3 years owning complex engagements end-to-end through a structured methodology.
- Direct experience working in or advising asset management, institutional investing, insurance investment management, or investment operations organizations.
- Deep understanding of institutional asset management and investment operations, including front-, middle-, and back-office operating models.
- Experience supporting public and private market investment businesses.
- Demonstrated success leading complex initiatives with enterprise-wide impact.
- Experience designing and implementing operating models, governance structures, organizational frameworks, capability models, or large-scale business process redesigns.
- Demonstrated fluency with AI-enabled tools applied to delivery work.
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to navigate ambiguity, solve complex problems, and drive measurable results.
