About the Role
Floor Staff team members are responsible for ensuring guests receive exceptional service, potentially working in the Box Office, Concession Stand, or as an Usher. They act as representatives of Regal, adhering to the company's mission and policies, including regular attendance, handling emergencies, general cleaning, and compliance with the dress code.
Responsibilities
- Operate POS system, including handling cash, credit cards, gift cards, and coupons.
- Upsell and suggestively sell premium viewing experiences.
- Promote the Regal Crown Club program.
- Sell tickets in accordance with the MPAA rating system and company policy.
- Respond to guest inquiries via phone and in person.
- Prepare and clean concession equipment.
- Comply with food safety laws.
- Adhere to break and meal period laws.
- Maintain required alcohol certifications and training.
- Sell or serve alcohol if of legal age and assigned duties require it.
- Read and understand training materials on topics such as sexual harassment and discrimination.
- Tear tickets, collect stubs, and direct patrons to auditoriums.
- Inspect backpacks and packages when applicable.
- Manage crowd control and assist guests in finding seats.
- Enforce the MPAA rating system.
- Conduct in-auditorium inspections for quality and safety.
- Report problems and unusual situations to management.
- Perform in-auditorium concession sales.
- Clean auditoriums, restrooms, lobby, and other areas.
- Monitor cleanliness and operation of vending equipment.
- Assist with opening and closing duties.
Requirements
- Completion of cast certification program as a cast member and box office cashier or progress towards completion.
- Complete any legally required state or local alcohol training and obtain certification if applicable.
- Complete Regal Responsible Beverage Server training on Regal Online University if applicable.
- Possess good public speaking skills.
- Listen effectively and respond clearly and directly.
