About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Semiconductor Program Manager to lead new microcontroller (MCU) chip development programs for automotive, industrial, server, and data center applications. This role drives execution from early product definition through mass production, aligning cross-functional teams, schedules, risks, and decisions to bring complex semiconductor products to market.
Responsibilities
- Drive MCU program execution across product definition, engineering development, validation, production readiness, and mass production launch.
- Build and maintain integrated schedules, milestones, dependencies, deliverables, and risk mitigation plans to keep programs on track.
- Serve as the central program leader across silicon, firmware, software, validation, marketing, operations, and business teams across regions.
- Provide timely stakeholder updates covering schedule status, risks, financial assumptions, decisions needed, and recovery actions.
- Lead structured development reviews and decision checkpoints to maintain execution discipline and cross-functional alignment.
Requirements
- Experience managing complex semiconductor, MCU, or embedded systems development programs across hardware, firmware, software, validation, product, and operations teams.
- Ability to manage schedules, milestones, risks, dependencies, decisions, stakeholder communication, and global cross-functional execution.
- Strong communicator with the planning, organization, and problem-solving skills needed to lead complex technical programs.
- Ability to develop project financial information, including development cost, cost of goods sold, return on investment, and related business case inputs for semiconductor programs.
- Self-driven and comfortable leading technical programs with shifting priorities, complex dependencies, and fast-paced execution demands.
- Proficiency in program scheduling, milestone tracking, risk management, executive communication, Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, Excel, and Jira.
- English communication is required; Japanese language ability is preferred but not required.
