Responsibilities
- Ensure all work order requests related to mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and other assigned areas are completed properly and timely to meet safety and service standards.
- Promote and enforce safety practices and procedures within the department.
- Ensure effective recruitment, hiring, training, recognition, coaching, and counseling are handled appropriately.
- Facilitate and ensure yearly performance reviews of all employees within the department are completed.
- Prepare reports of department progress or as required by senior management.
- Manage the security of all issued keys, key inventory, destroyed keys, and keys turned in by other employees.
- Respond to all emergencies per established procedures, provide expertise, and direct team members and resources.
- Ensure quality and consistent presentation of all products delivered to guests.
- Assist in training, motivating, and supervising staff to ensure employees receive adequate guidance and resources.
- Implement new or improved best practices or procedures.
- Maintain ongoing knowledge of all aspects of the facilities on property.
- Schedule department staff and enforce attendance policies.
- Ensure all work is done with care and no damage occurs.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
- Demonstrate consistent regard and dedication to guests, vendors, colleagues, and the Company by being engaged, interested, and productive.
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of our marketplace and collaboratively assist in building best practices for the Company’s success.

- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Moderate physical ability such as lift or maneuver at least twenty-five (25) pounds.
- Varied instances of standing/walking.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as policy and procedure manuals, and maintenance instructions.
- Ability to respond to common inquiries from other employees or guests.
- Ability to write detailed instructions and correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations.
Skills
- Advanced knowledge of field concepts, principles, practices, and procedures.
- Significant experience creating, tracking, and controlling financial metrics.
- Strong supervisory skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Working ability with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Familiarity with building systems, HVAC, Plumbing, and Kitchen Mechanics.
- Fluency in English.
- Second language is a plus.
