About the Role
Join our team in Berlin to support individuals with severe disabilities on their path to self-employment. You will provide comprehensive consulting services from the initial idea through to the stabilization of their businesses.
Responsibilities
- Advise clients on all aspects of starting a business, including the pre-startup, startup, and stabilization phases.
- Support clients in developing business and financial plans and assessing the feasibility of their ventures.
- Inform and advise on suitable financing options (grants, subsidies, loans, etc.) and assist with applications.
- Provide advice on disability-specific aspects of starting a business, including special funding opportunities and work organization.
- Assist with overcoming disability-specific challenges and psychosocial crises during the self-employment journey.
- Advise founders during the startup and stabilization phases of their self-employment.
- Document consultation processes according to the requirements of the inclusion authority (data collection, applications, etc.).
Requirements
- Completed vocational or university degree, e.g., in Business Administration, Social Sciences, or Communication Studies.
- Basic business administration knowledge and/or practical experience in self-employment or entrepreneurial activity.
- Experience in startup consulting and/or sound experience in individual counseling.
- Interest in working with people with severe disabilities and in inclusive career prospects.
- Strong communication skills and enjoyment in individually supporting people.
- Empathy, initiative, and a proactive approach.
- Interest in collaborative work and teamwork.
