About the Role
As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for day-to-day sales support and customer service for assigned accounts, understanding customer requirements for Arrow AEP product offerings and services.
Responsibilities
- Leverage AE Petsche and vendor programs to progress transactions through the sales cycle.
- Manage vendor special pricing programs, including submissions, tracking, logging, and customer notification.
- Involve other resources to address issues.
- Process quotes and quote revisions for customers.
- Prepare orders for submission based on customer purchase orders, ensuring all required information is included.
- Solve pre-sales and post-sales problems with vendor contacts and internal departments.
- Escalate issues to management when appropriate.
- Develop opportunities and increase sales by consultative interaction with customers to achieve sales and margin quotas.
- Communicate information on significant opportunities.
- Consolidate, enter, and validate end-user opportunities for assigned resellers.
- Update sales cycle progress.
- Provide timely and accurate forecasts to management.
Requirements
- 2-3 years related experience and/or training (inside sales, account management, material planning, buying or program management).
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
- Ability to communicate ideas and information concisely and logically.
- Ability to listen attentively and confirm messages.
- Ability to communicate effectively via phone and email.
- Ability to deliver sensitive communications with tact and diplomacy.
- Must be eligible for an export license or be a U.S. Person due to International Traffic in Arms Regulations.
