About the Role
Ashurst Perkins Coie is seeking second-year law students for its 2L Real Estate Summer Associate Program in Summer 2027. This program is the primary pathway to full-time associate hiring and offers substantive legal work, client interaction, and professional development opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Conduct research, drafting, and analysis.
- Engage in client-facing projects.
- Attend hearings, client meetings, depositions, and deal closings.
- Work on pro bono matters.
- Participate in professional development activities.
- Attend social events to build relationships across the firm.
Requirements
- Must be a second-year law student in good standing.
- Must be pursuing a Juris Doctor degree at an ABA-accredited law school.
- Demonstrated record of academic achievement.
- Excellent writing and interpersonal skills.
- Experience that will contribute to a successful career in the legal field.
- Interest in practicing law in real estate.
- Ability to submit resume, transcripts, writing sample (max 10 pages), and cover letter.
- Willingness to provide references if requested.
