About the Role
As an Intermediate DevOps Engineer, you will support, operate, and enhance our global digital infrastructure. You will play a key role in our transition away from big-tech reliance by implementing and managing open-source tools. We are looking for a proactive engineer passionate about automation, reliability, and modern cloud-native practices.
Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day maintenance of our global digital infrastructure, ensuring reliability and performance.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of Terraform modules for automated provisioning.
- Manage and monitor containerized workloads using Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
- Assist in maintaining and optimizing GitLab CI/CD and ArgoCD pipelines.
- Monitor system health using our observability stack (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki), creating alerts and dashboards.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to support our 24/7 global production environment.
- Partner with the software engineering team to support the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Adhere to and apply security best practices across infrastructure configurations and deployment pipelines.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps or a related technical role.
- Proficient experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), specifically Terraform.
- Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) components (Any cloud provider is advantageous).
- Hands-on experience with containerisation/containerisation orchestration technologies, including Docker, Kubernetes and Helm.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, particularly Gitlab CI/CD and ArgoCD.
- Working knowledge of application profiling and observability tools such as Loki, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Experience with Cloudflare or another DNS provider.
- Experience supporting services in a high-availability production environment.
