About the Role
The Executive Officer provides executive level administrative support to the Armed Response Command and manages administrative procedures related to complaint and disciplinary matters. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be involved in the establishment of the new Armed Response Command, requiring initiative and a proactive approach to setting up efficient systems and processes.
Responsibilities
- Provides executive level administrative support to the Command/Business Unit.
- Manages administrative procedures relating to complaint and disciplinary matters from assessment to completion.
- Prepares Ministerial correspondence, commendation letters, and other related correspondence.
- Maintains confidentiality and security.
- Meets strict deadlines.
Requirements
- Must be an Australian Citizen, a permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen.
- Must undergo a rigorous National Police (criminal history) Check.
- Must obtain and maintain a Security Clearance as determined by the NSW Police Force.
- High level written communication and people skills are needed.
- Must have relevant experience in managing administrative procedures for complaints and disciplinary matters.
- Must have experience working effectively and efficiently with minimal supervision, prioritizing to meet multiple, competing deadlines in a high-volume environment.
- Must be proactive, detail-oriented, and keen to make a meaningful impact.
