About the Role
The Bi-lingual Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for the daily functions of the HR department, including hiring, interviewing staff, and enforcing company policies and practices.
Responsibilities
- Understand compliance laws and communicate them to managers and employees.
- Recruit, interview, and facilitate the hiring of qualified job applicants.
- Collaborate with departmental managers to understand required skills and competencies for open positions.
- Conduct background checks and verify employee eligibility.
- Implement new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
- Administer and execute HR programs, including disciplinary matters, disputes, investigations, performance and talent management, productivity, recognition, morale, occupational health and safety, and training and development.
- Handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors.
- Refer complex or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
- Attend and participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 2-4 years Recruiting experience
- 2-4 years HR Generalist experience
- 2-4 years HRIS experience
