About the Role

Planet Fitness is seeking friendly and courteous candidates for the role of Front Desk Associates. This role involves delivering first-rate service, fostering customer satisfaction and loyalty, and promoting the company's mission, vision, and values. The ideal candidate will be adept at balancing multiple tasks with a positive demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and exit members in a confident, professional, and friendly manner.
• Anticipate member's needs and respond promptly.
• Provide gracious and efficient telephone service, answering calls knowledgeably.
• Utilize communication and problem-solving skills to resolve customer concerns.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the club.
• Deliver prompt, efficient customer service with a high level of accuracy.
• Accept payments from customers and provide change and receipts.
• Drive revenue by communicating product benefits and special promotions.
• Answer customer questions and provide information regarding business procedures and policies.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years old or older.
• Six months of face-to-face customer service experience in a retail environment required.
• One year of fitness experience preferred.
• Ability to talk and hear, sit, stand, and use hands and fingers.
• Required to stand, walk, reach, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
• Ability to frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and move objects up to 75 pounds.
