About the Role

RBC Private Wealth is seeking an Associate to join our Central Services Team in London. The role provides administrative support to client coverage teams on core services, including payments, transfers, foreign exchanges, static data changes, and client card/cheque inquiries.

Responsibilities

  • Review and prioritize incoming emails, actioning and filing them appropriately.
  • Conduct telephone security call backs with clients.
  • Process domestic and international payments accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Process internal transfers between accounts within agreed timescales.
  • Assist with the timely processing of foreign exchange transactions.
  • Record transactions on the client relationship system.
  • Assist client coverage teams with ad hoc remediation projects.
  • Perform general administration duties as required.
  • Ensure timely settlement of loan interest and investment fees.
  • Serve as a point of contact for card and cheque inquiries.
  • Act as a point of contact for the wider Private Wealth team regarding payment queries.
  • Escalate and report all risk events and near misses immediately.
  • Identify internal process inefficiencies and recommend solutions to support Business Management.

Requirements

  • Professional, hard-working approach with the ability to challenge the status quo.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and identify when support is needed.
  • Client exposure and coverage experience.
  • Previous banking experience and/or direct client interaction.
  • Financial services industry knowledge preferred.
  • Wealth management, financial services, or professional services experience.
  • Payment processing or banking operations background.
