About the Role

Farm Credit East (FCE) is seeking a Credit Analyst to analyze credit applications, assess risk, and recommend appropriate credit facilities. This role involves understanding credit analysis, underwriting, and the credit delivery process, while protecting the Association and meeting customer needs. The Credit Analyst will contribute to operational efficiency and organizational synergy through consistent processes and effective communication.

Responsibilities

  • Serve marketplaces across the Association by providing sound and timely credit analysis.
  • Ensure accuracy and currency of credit classifications, PDs, LGDs, and financial information for loans.
  • Apply policies and procedures to meet underwriting requirements, including loan pricing and fee collection.
  • Utilize approved differential analysis tools and technology.
  • Provide direct financial underwriting and analysis consistent with organizational expectations.
  • Deliver accurate and timely loan underwriting using provided lending software for all loan complexities.
  • Assess financial information for cross-selling opportunities, including new lending, crop insurance, recordkeeping, and tax preparation.

Requirements

  • An associate or bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agri-Business, Economics, Finance, Business or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Hybrid work options are available after two weeks of employment, subject to job role and manager discretion.

  • $55,000 - $80,000
