About the Role
The Director, Identity Security & Privileged Access Management is responsible for operationalizing and driving Danaher's global Privileged Access Management program. This role involves architecting and engineering PAM patterns, governing the platform and its exceptions, and driving adoption to ensure all privileged identities are discovered, vaulted, monitored, and governed.
Responsibilities
- Design PAM reference patterns, including JIT/JEA, session isolation and recording, vault topology, break-glass, and non-human-identity/secrets management.
- Lead hands-on engineering of PAM platform configuration standards, integrations, and automation, including discovery, onboarding, and credential rotation.
- Govern privileged-account onboarding standards, exception requests, and break-glass procedures; drive remediation of coverage gaps across business units.
- Partner across identity, security operations, cloud, DevOps, infrastructure, and audit teams to integrate privileged-access controls.
- Own the PAM platform and vendor relationship; report program status, risk posture, and metrics to security leadership and audit stakeholders.
Requirements
- 14+ years of cybersecurity experience with a focus on privileged access management or identity and access management.
- Experience designing and driving enterprise or global PAM architecture, operating model, or control framework across multiple business units.
- Hands-on experience engineering enterprise PAM platforms (such as CyberArk, BeyondTrust, or Delinea): privileged-account onboarding, vaulting, session management, rotation, and integrations.
