About the Role

Our Inside Sales Account Executives help customers in budgeting, managing their finances, and eliminating unsecured debt. They determine financial position, goals, and debt obligations by interviewing clients and examining bills and payment schedules. The role involves inspiring potential clients to take action with a financial program to help them with their outstanding debts.

Responsibilities

• Determine financial position, goals, and debt obligations by interviewing clients and examining bills and payment schedules.
• Inspire potential clients to take action with a financial program to help them with their outstanding debts.
• Use financial resources by examining income, assets, and expenses.
• Develop a financial plan for the client where necessary by reducing high-interest debt.

Requirements

• Proficient in English is a must.
• Previous experience in debt consolidation, credit and/or collections, financial planning and sales preferred – not required.
• Customer Service skills are a must!
• Strong people skills and the ability to communicate effectively (orally and in written form).
• Fact gathering skills.
• Knowledge and use of PC Systems.
• Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines/goals.
• Self-motivated, willingness to constantly improve.
• Attention to detail and be able to multi-task and prioritize work on a daily basis.
• Bilingual (Spanish / English) preferred, not necessary.
• Collections/consolidation and credit card debt experience preferred, not required.
• Many of the successful hires we have made over the past few years have come from inside sales / call centre environments.
• An added plus for a Financial Counsellor would be to come from the Mortgage or Collections industry.
