About the Role
Compass Family Services is a nonprofit organization dedicated to addressing San Francisco's homeless crisis by providing comprehensive support to families. This temporary role will support the Development team with administrative and hands-on tasks, including managing gift pop-up shops, data entry, and coordinating volunteer events.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the receiving of in-kind gifts from donors.
- Help manage the Holiday gift pop-up shop.
- Perform data entry, mailings, and other administrative tasks.
- Support the team with corporate and group volunteering events on-site.
Requirements
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Ability to spend hours on your feet.
- Candidates who speak fluent Spanish will receive extra consideration.
Skills

- Passion for the mission of Compass Family Services
- Competency with Excel and Word or similar programs
- Experience with Salesforce preferred
- Skilled at managing many details and logistics
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to manage volunteers and interact with donors and clients
