About the Role

You will be working directly with leading private equity and hedge fund firms in the alternative asset industry under the guidance and direction from our experienced team of industry veterans. You will be facilitating our service offering by assisting, performing, and reviewing key financial tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Support IQEQ client leads across multiple Private Equity funds in diverse industries.
  • Collaborate with manager, team, and support functions to meet client expectations and deliverables on time.
  • Apply understanding of limited partnership agreements to financial reporting, allocations, and compliance.
  • Prepare and review key financial tasks, including journal entries, fee and interest calculations, investor notices, and waterfall models.
  • Manage audits and year-end processes.
  • Assist with onboarding new team members.
  • Suggest improvements for operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with at least a 3.0 GPA.
  • Bring over 3 years of experience in Private Equity or a related industry.
  • Demonstrate strong accounting knowledge.
  • Excel at delivering exceptional client service.
  • Maintain effective, professional communication in all interactions.
  • Collaborate well in team environments.
  • Provide and accept constructive feedback.
  • Manage multiple priorities and deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Be flexible to work overtime when needed.
  • Consistently produce high-quality work under pressure.

Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Outlook
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word
  • Proficiency in Investran (preferred)

  • $70,000-$95,000
