About the Role
Bose Corporation is seeking a Custodian to maintain clean, safe, and orderly environments. This role is crucial in ensuring a positive experience for employees and visitors by performing essential cleaning and maintenance duties.
Responsibilities
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.
- Disinfect restrooms and cafeterias.
- Sanitize all surfaces, including counters, railings, and door handles.
- Empty and reline all trash cans and recyclable containers, including production cardboard bins.
- Perform basic maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs.
- Assist maintenance technicians.
- Perform landscape duties and snow removal.
- Follow strict safety protocols, including the safe use of chemical cleaners, machinery, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Conduct job duties in order of priority and stay productive during slower periods.
- Monitor, restock, and manage inventory of cleaning supplies.
Requirements
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Thoroughness in cleaning and maintenance tasks.
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift objects up to 50lbs.
- Ability to perform manual labor.
- Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and cleaning and landscape equipment.
