About the Role
eBay's Authenticity Guarantee program ensures buyers shop with confidence by having eligible fashion and collectible items physically inspected by experts. Our team develops and manages the technology platform that powers these authentication workflows, including integrations with core systems, warehouse applications, and logistics partners.
Responsibilities
- Define and deliver a scalable, extensible API platform supporting eBay's Authenticity Guarantee operations.
- Design platform capabilities and integrations connecting warehouse systems, item inspection workflows, shipping providers, and internal eBay systems.
- Understand operational workflows and requirements from authenticators, warehouse operators, and operations teams, ensuring user needs are central to product decisions.
- Own and drive a technical roadmap balancing business growth, platform scalability, operational efficiency, and long-term technical investments.
- Partner closely with engineering to define platform architecture, integration strategies, and system capabilities.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives involving engineering, operations, logistics, customer experience, and business stakeholders.
- Manage and mentor a growing team focused on platform and operational technology.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in technical Product Management, ideally focused on platform products, operational systems, warehouse management systems (WMS), fulfillment technology, logistics platforms, or large-scale business applications.
- Experience defining APIs, system integrations, and scalable platform capabilities.
- Experience working on operational workflows, warehouse technologies, supply chain systems, fulfillment platforms, or similar complex business processes.
- Experience managing multiple complex, multi-phase strategic products in parallel across diverse stakeholder groups and execution teams.
- Strong technical fluency and ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams on architecture, integrations, and platform strategy.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS, Human Computer Interaction, Operations, Design, or a related field preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead discussions, align stakeholders, and drive decisions across technical and non-technical audiences.
