About the Role

Surefox North America Inc. is seeking individuals with military, law enforcement, or security experience to join our team as an Event Resilience Officer. You will work on a special event under the guidance of supervisors, acting as an ambassador for Surefox and its clients while ensuring the safety and security of client employees and property.

Responsibilities

• Perform access control, including verifying identification and credentials.
• Engage with and verify employees and guests.
• Provide customer service and assistance.
• Conduct active patrolling and monitoring of client facilities.
• Respond to medical and non-medical emergency events.
• Keep detailed notes of incidents.
• Compile notes with coworkers to create incident reports.
• Perform security patrols in assigned areas to deter suspicious activity.
• Monitor entrances and exits to ensure security.
• Assist clients' employees and create a safe environment.
• Work independently and adapt to various work paces.
• Respond to and assist immediately with emergencies on-site.
• Assist with preparing reports and statements regarding accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities.

Requirements

• Must be eligible for employment within the United States.
• Must be a minimum of 18 years old.
• Must have a current BSIS guard card.
• Must have or be in the process of attaining a CPR/AED & First-Aid certification.
• Must be able to pass an extensive background check and drug screening.
• Must be customer service oriented.
• Must have the ability to communicate in a professional and respectful manner.
• Must have good judgment skills with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.
• Must be able to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Must have the ability to work both independently and as a member of a team.
• Must be able to safely and effectively deploy and use any assigned equipment.
• Must be able to be on your feet for long periods of time and/or able to stand and conduct foot patrols for the duration of your shift.
