About the Role

We are seeking a hard-working, innovative, detail-oriented and creative team player to join our Aptive team as a full-time Pest Control Technician. This position is located on the road in the area around Round Rock, TX, with reporting to our Austin, TX office once per week. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a team environment and excels working individually.

Responsibilities

• Running a daily route to resolve customer pest concerns and issues
• Maintaining truck and equipment in proper working order
• Keeping accurate records of treatments provided
• Mixing, applying, and working with pesticides following state and federal laws
• Serving as the subject matter expert for customers by implementing efficient pest solutions
• Maintaining and servicing all route customers according to company standards and procedures
• Advising customers of potential problems
• Keeping management informed of any problems encountered on service routes
• Maintaining proper inventory of pesticides in usage
• Carrying a product backpack that weighs approximately 50 lbs

Requirements

• No experience necessary; training will be provided
• A US driver’s license valid for a minimum of 3 years is required
• A clean driving record is required (no more than one moving violation in the past year and no more than 2 moving violations in the past 4 years)
• A drug test and background check will be performed on all new hires
